The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has entered a new era of leadership and stability. The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in exercising its constitutional and statutory mandate, has officially recognised Senator David Mark as the substantive National Chairman of the ADC and Rauf Ogeni Aregbesola as the National Secretary.
This landmark recognition is more than an announcement it is the beginning of a new dawn for our great party.
For too long, the ADC, with its rich ideology of inclusiveness, people-driven politics, and youth empowerment, has been held back by distractions and disputes. Today, INEC’s decision has restored clarity, order, and respect for due process. It reaffirms that the rule of law is the bedrock of political stability in Nigeria.
As the ADC Coalition Support Network (ADC-CSN), we wish to specially applaud and appreciate INEC for standing firm in its responsibility to safeguard democracy. By recognising the decision of the legitimate organs of the ADC, INEC has not only upheld the sanctity of the National Working Committee (NWC) but has also given our party a stronger foundation to rebuild, reorganise, and reposition itself ahead of the 2027 general elections.
