It gives me great pleasure to extend warm regards to the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, and distinguished NEC members to Maiduguri, Borno State.
I warmly welcome us all to this NEC Meeting, an important forum for reviewing the work of our Association, considering the State of the Nation, and addressing matters that speak to the welfare of our members and the future of our profession.
This Session comes at a meaningful time for the Bar as we continue to navigate evolving national, institutional, and professional landscapes.
Maiduguri, renowned for its resilience, provides a fitting backdrop for the thoughtful and courageous deliberations that lie ahead.
It is our collective expectation that this Meeting will reinforce the NBA’s enduring values of justice, ethics, and the rule of law; strengthen the structures that support our branches and national organs; and produce resolutions that reflect unity, responsibility, and service to society.
As we proceed with our engagements, I pray for wisdom in our conversations, harmony in our interactions, and outcomes that are impactful and forward-looking.
