I received with deep sorrow the heartbreaking news of the passing of the Secretary-General of Otu-Oka Iwu Abuja Branch, Ogechukwu Okafor. Her death is a painful loss not only to the Otu-Oka Iwu family but to the wider legal community that she served with dedication and honour.
Ogechukwu was a committed professional whose contributions, quiet strength, and sense of responsibility will be greatly missed. Her service to the Branch reflected her passion for unity, excellence, and the advancement of our noble profession.
In this moment of grief, my thoughts and prayers are with the leadership and members of Otu-Oka Iwu Abuja Branch, as well as her family, friends, and colleagues. I pray that God grants you all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss and grants her soul eternal rest.
May her memory remain a blessing and an enduring inspiration to us all.
