The President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN has appointed a Caretaker Committee for Degema Branch in view of the expiration of the present Branch Executive Committee, today 13 June 2024 and the inability of the Branch Electoral Committee to conduct an election of members of the Executive Committee earlier scheduled for today, 13 June 2024, in view of the pending petition against the electoral process before the Branch Election Appeal Committee (East).

- Dumo Ambie Barango – Chairman
- Ibigote Destiny Fynn – Secretary
- Owunari Taylor-Harry – Member
The outgone Chairman, Mr. Victor V. Amachree is directed to hand over all Branch documents, monies, and properties with immediate effect to the Caretaker Committee.
