Dear Distinguished Colleagues,
I write to formally inform you that the National Executive Council (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) convened its quarterly meeting on Thursday, 5 February 2026, at the Muhammed Indimi International Conference Centre, Maiduguri, Borno State.
The meeting was well attended by National Officers, Past Presidents and General Secretaries, Branch Chairmen and Secretaries, leaders of NBA Sections and Fora, Co-opted NEC Members, Observers, as well as members of the press.
After extensive and constructive deliberations on matters of importance to the Association and the legal profession, the Council adopted several key resolutions, as contained in the attached communiqué.
