Dear Learned Friends and Seniors,
I wish to specially congratulate the President of the Nigerian Bar Association, Chief Afam Osigwe, SAN, and the members of the National Executive Council (NEC) for their laudable achievement in amending the Constitution of our great Association.
In my view, the newly amended Constitution is on all fours with the best international standards. It reflects a forward-thinking approach to governance that will undoubtedly strengthen the legal profession in Nigeria for years to come.
As a “Bar Man” who has always advocated for inclusive welfare, I am particularly moved by the decision to provide free digital stamps for our young lawyers.
“This initiative is more than just a fiscal relief; it is a powerful symbol that the Bar remembers her own and is committed to the growth of its youngest members.”
I salute the President and the NEC for their vision and for prioritizing the tools that allow our junior colleagues to practice with dignity and ease.
Yours Faithfully,
Sir Oaikhena Osagie
